On Wednesday, November 29, 2017, members of the telecommunications community of the Republic of Indonesia visited SPEAG. The delegation was led by Mr. Mochamad Rus’an, the Director of the Center for Testing of Telecommunication Equipment (BBPPT) – part of the Indonesian Ministry of Resources and Equipment of Post and Informatics (SDPPI) – who was accompanied by Ms. Rika Ariyanti and Mr. Nono Sugiono of the testing laboratory and Dr. R. Harry Arjadi from the electromagnetic compatibility research group at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI).
Dr. Katja Pokovic of SPEAG introduced the various directions of Z43 research activites at IT'IS, SPEAG, and ZMT. The visitors introduced themselves and structures, missions, and activities of their institutions, then were treated to a tour of the calibration, cSAR3D, and DASY6 laboratories, and production. The tour included a live demonstration of cSAR3D by Dr. Mark Douglas, and Dr. Romain Meyer performed a live demonstration of DASY6.
It was all in all a productive visit. The visitors' feedback was very positive, and they look forward to future collaborations and pursuit of joint research activities.
