New Product: Broad-Band Liquids for new IEC/IEEE standards

Broad-Band Liquid for new IEC/IEEE standards

SPEAG is continuously improving the DASY system to simplify testing and to reduce time and costs. We are proud to release a new series of tissue simulating liquids that are broad-band based on the user and environmental friendlier Tween ingredient and fully compliant with the new IEC/IEEE standards allowing ±10% tolerance on the liquid parameters:

IEC 62209-2 (released March 2010)
IEEE 1528 revision (to be released end of 2010)
IEC 62209-1 revision (to be released spring 2011)

Despite increased tolerance on liquid parameters, improved repeatability is achieved by the compensation algorithm implemented in DASY 5.0 and higher.

The liquids available now are:

Broad-Band Head Simulating Liquids
HSL BB1.5 (covering 1.35 - 1.85 GHz frequency range)
HSL BB1.8 (covering 1.55 - 1.95 GHz frequency range)
HSL BB1.9 (covering 1.90 - 3.80 GHz frequency range)
HSL 3500/5800 (covering 3.20 -6.00 GHz frequency range)

Broad-Band Body Simulating Liquids

MSL BB1.5 (covering 1.35 - 1.85 GHz frequency range)
MSL BB1.8 (covering 1.55 - 1.95 GHz frequency range)
MSL BB1.9 (covering 1.90 - 3.80 GHz frequency range)
MSL 3500/5800 (covering 3.00 -6.00 GHz frequency range)
