FCC Grants PIA for DASY8/6 Module WPT

With the removal of FCC’s requirement for NUMSIM Pre-Approval Guidance (PAG), demonstrating compliance for wireless power transfer devices has become routine and substantially faster.

DASY8/6 Module WPT is the only solution for compliance testing against basic restrictions without overestimation. Now, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has granted DASY8/6 users a Persistent Inquiry Approval (PIA), authorizing the use of Module WPT V2.8+ for compliance testing with specific absorption rate (SAR) and maximum permissible exposure (MPE) limits without a separate NUMSIM PAG submission. The FCC’s approval applies when tests are conducted according to the PIA Inquiry document.

FCC’s approval outlines the specific requirements to be included in the submission, which we have incorporated in our PIA Inquiry document and system manual.

For more information, please download the PIA Inquiry document or contact us at info@speag.swiss.
