Calibration Procedure | Calibration of free-space probes includes probe sensitivity in air, orientation of two sensors normal to the probe axis, axial isotropy error, dynamic range, linearity, and frequency response of the probe. All assessments are conducted with a CW signal. Assessment of probe modulation response parameters is available on request.
PMR |
Advanced probe response linearization calibration for a specific modulation. Please refer to the Communication Systems page for available modulations.
SMC | Sensor Model Calibration is a novel method to calibrate the lumped elements describing the model of the probe sensor. The calibrated model is subsequently used to determine the linearization factors of each sensor for any modulation (UID and any customer defined signal) with known precision. More details can be found on our NEWS page.
