MAGPy Version 2 – A Performance BoostSPEAG has released MAGPy Version 2, which includes a redesigned probe and extended software. MAGPy guarantees accurate extrapolation of incident fields to the probe surface, support of pulsed and multifrequency signals, and estimates of all basic restriction quantities required by regulators. MAGPy is fully compatible with IEC/IEEE 63184:2023 and meets all the latest FCC and ISED requirements. MAGPy Version 2 can now also be used as part of the measurement system DASY8/6 Module WPT. |

The MAGPy V1.0 software comes with an auto-updater feature which ensures the system is always up to date with the latest updates and enhancements. New API for MAGPy Version 1SPEAG’s Magnetic Amplitude and Gradient Probe System, MAGPy Version 1, now comes with a simple and powerful Application Programming Interface (API), which allows you to control the handheld MAGPy device within your own applications. These include, but are not limited to, (i) complex scanning with a robot, for example, below a car or inside the car; (ii) remote or long-term monitoring of field levels, (iii) monitoring in high field strength or hazardous environments; and (iv) applications where the field is to be measured at several peak frequencies under automated control. MAGPy Version 1: In Situ Compliance up to 10 MHzSPEAG’s Magnetic Amplitude and Gradient Probe System, MAGPy Version 1, is the only handheld instrument for precise in situ exposure assessments in the very close near field to the far field of sources operating below 10 MHz. It is the only device fully compatible with IEC PAS 63184:2021 in estimating the induced fields.
