5G Solutions Exhibited at EuMW 2019 in Paris

At this year’s show, we focussed on demonstrating our 5G solutions for compliance testing and were able to provide advice on how to overcome some of the technical challenges imposed by the introduction of millimeter wave technologies in emerging 5G communications systems.

We received many enquiries during the show. Customers learned about the newly released power density measurements on the renown DASY6 platform, including the different probes (near field and 5G related) and the OH4VNA, the bi-directional radiofrequency over-fiber link that offers the most reliable means to measure the S11 of electrically small antennas in the 500 MHz – 6 GHz frequency range.

One of our most popular exhibits was the SPEAG DAK-TL-P system for material characterization of thin layers (0.1 ‒ 10 mm) at frequencies up to 67 GHz, our EM Phantoms for 5G over-the-air measurements, as well as SEMCAD X Matterhorn V18.0, which offers many new dedicated 5G features and post-pro algorithms. SEMCAD X Matterhorn V18.0 provides amazing computational acceleration, developing phased-array antennas in short time and meeting demanding performance requirements, including regulatory compliance, empowering engineers with the most efficient solutions for design, analysis, and optimization of 5G mm-wave antenna arrays.

SPEAG is a leader in providing unique 5G solutions to meet various customer needs in the near-field zone of electromagnetic radiators. We are proud to say that no one else provides such a broad range of high-quality products in this market area.

We would like to thank all of our customers for taking the time to visit our booth for fruitful discussions, and we look forward to seeing you again at the next EuMW in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in 2020. As always, we will bring from Switzerland our combined technical expertise and, of course, the finest chocolates.
