Extended Frequency Range for DAK-12: 10 MHz – 5 GHz

We are pleased to announce an innovation that makes it possible to measure dielectric parameters of materials across the entire RF frequency range from 10 MHz to 50 GHz with only three DAK probes, saving time and costs for our customers. The novel algorithm corrects for the distortions caused by electrode polarization at the very low end of the frequency band based on calibration data and extends the applicability of the DAK-12 Probe down to 10 MHz. The associated measurement uncertainties for different frequency ranges and materials are provided in our calibration certificate (see our scope of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation). The new algorithm will become available for all customers with the new software release at the end of April. Our coaxial probes are optimized for use over a broad range of frequencies and dielectric parameters.
