The Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT) of the Republic of Lithuania is now fully equipped with SPEAG’s combined DASY8 Module SAR and DASY83D system. After SPEAG won the public tender, the system was delivered and installed at the end of March.
This will enable RRT to satisfy the European Union (EU) requirement for market surveillance testing after the lab accreditation process is complete. The RRT laboratory in Kaunas is officially designated as an EU testing facility for radio equipment, per Decision (EU) 2023/733.

DASY8 is SPEAG’s robot-based high precision electromagnetic (EM) near-field scanning platform. It is a flexible and expandable platform consisting of several modules to test compliance of wireless devices with human exposure limits. It complies with all national (e.g., FCC, CENELEC) and international guidelines, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ICNIRP).
DASY8 Module SAR is optimized for demonstration of compliance with local and whole-body specific absorption rate (SAR) limits from 4 MHz – 10 GHz and the absorbed power density (APD) from 6 – 10 GHz in full accordance with all national and international standards and regulations. Due to its reliability and proven accuracy, it is considered the gold standard in compliance testing.
DASY83D is a full integration of the cSAR3D system with any of the DASY8 Modules, offering a combined system that seamlessly transitions from automated SAR pre-screening with cSAR3D to full evaluations using DASY8.
