Ponato, Livio
Electrical Engineer
Livio Ponato was born in Zurich, Switzerland in 1987.
Livio completed an apprenticeship as a multimedia electronics technician, then stayed with that company for three more years. In 2012, after working for 11 months as an electronics technician at Bruker Biospin, he started at the "Höhere Fachschule Uster" to study electronics. Livio previously worked at SPEAG, starting in February 2013. In September 2017, he left Z43 to work elsewhere to gain additional experience. During his 1½ years away from SPEAG, he also completed studies as Business Engineer NDS HF. Livio returned to SPEAG in February 2019 as an electrical engineer.
Livio has been involved in a wide range of technical projects, including key contributions to DASy8 and MAGPy3. In these roles, he has supported development, testing, and system optimization.
In addition to his engineering work, Livio is responsible for the procurement of critical and hard-to-source components, ensuring supply continuity and supporting project timelines.
