SAR PHANTOMS
SPEAG phantoms are high-quality products constructed of materials compatible with all of SPEAG's tissue simulating liquids. The shells are constructed with a very tight tolerance of less than 0.2 mm, and all parameters correspond to those requested by specific absorption rate (SAR) standards including alternative phantoms as defined in the latest draft oft he IEC62209 standards. Full CAD information has been predefined in the DASY software, enabling fast and easy usage. In addition, custom-made phantoms can be developed on requests including the corresponding DASY6 configuration files.

SAM Chin-20 Right/Left Tilted SAM head phantom for cases where the antenna is mounted at the bottom of the phone or for all cases where the peak absorption is in the chin region. Both heads of the SAM-Chin20 Right/Left are rotated 20 degrees around the NF line. Each head can be removed individually from the table for emptying and cleaning.

WBBDuke Phantom The Whole-Body Back Duke phantom is optimized for demonstration of SAR compliance of devices mounted to the back of a person, such as wireless-linked backpacks or charging vests. It is compatible with the SAR procedures for application-specific phantoms described in the latest draft of the unified SAR measurement standard IEC/IEEE 62209-1528. Modular Flat Phantom (MFP) The Modular Flat Phantom consists of three identical modules that can be installed and removed separately without emptying the liquid. It is used for compliance testing of small wireless devices in body-worn configurations according to IEC 62209-2, etc.

Base Station Phantom (BSTP) The Base Station Phantom is optimized for SAR evaluations in accordance with Base-Station Antenna Testing standards (e.g., IEC 62232).
