With POWERSOURCE1, SPEAG offers an integrated traceable radiofrequency (RF) source that is calibrated in our ISO17025 laboratory to drive passive V&V sources up to 6 GHz.

The POWERSOURCE1 is powered via USB and includes a very stable RF power source, a bidirectional coupler, and a micro-controller that precisely and continuously controls output power by means of calibrated forward and reflected power measurements. The frequency and power of the POWERSOURCE1 can be manipulated on the device as well as via USB. This lightweight product with minimal size is an optimal solution for labs that use specific absorption rate (SAR) validation sources on DASY and cSAR3D to conduct SAR system performance checks and/or validation. |

Annual calibration is recommended for optimal performance. Calibration is performed to SPEAG's high-quality standards. ISO/IEC 17025 calibration service is planned for Q1-2017. |

The desired settings for power level and operating frequency can be easily adjusted with buttons and monitored on the LCD display. The available frequencies match the selection of SPEAG's system validation dipoles, the while power level can be set between -5 to +17 dBm in 1 dBm steps at each chosen frequency. |
