Dispersive Materials Optimization Tool

DISFIT

The Dispersive Material Fitting Tool (DISFIT) is a genetic-algorithm-based optimization tool used to obtain parameters for the different dispersive models (Debye, Lorentz, Drude, and the combination of Drude-Lorentz) for a given material (user-defined or imported from a text file).

  • Specify target error, maximum search time, and number of poles
  • Graphic representation of initial data and superimposed proposed fitting curves
  • Display frequency or wavelength vs. conductivity or imaginary part of permittivity
  • Best fit can be copied directly into simulation settings
