ICEy V2.0

The ICEy software is optimized for accelerated and automated EMC/EMI as well as millimeter wave power density near-field measurements of wireless communication devices. The ICEy software provides several unique features common to all ICEy system modular extensions:

  • a scanning mode that provides strong computer aided measurement planning based on stereoscopic images of the device under test with better than 25µm accuracy;
  • fully automated scanning, including automatic probe exchange;
  • integrated automatic system validation;
  • an advanced post-processor for graphical data visualization, result overlay, filtering and data export.

ICEy-EMC Software

The EMC module of ICEy is optimized for EMC/EMI near-field scanning using SPEAG's unique TDS probe technology - the only RF EM-transparent and traceable EMC probe technology on the market. The EMC module offers traceable characterization of the emissions of your devices in absolute terms.

ICEy-mmW Software The mmW or 5G module of ICEy is used for power density compliance testing for frequencies up to 110 GHz at distances as close as 2 mm from the transmitter using the novel EUmmWV2 probe.


Computer Requirements

The following minimum PC requirements must be met for maximum performance and full graphics capability:

  • Intel Core i7, 3.4 GHz CPU (or AMD equivalent)
  • Windows 7/10 with 64-bit Operating System (mandatory)
  • 16 GB of RAM
  • 3 Ethernet ports
  • 4 USB ports (at least 2 USB 3.0 ports)
  • 1 TB SSD
  • 3D accelerated graphics display adapter card with 256 MB of onboard memory that supports the latest OpenGL drivers currently available
  • Screen with 32-bit color depth and a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels or better
