TDS E-FIELD PROBES

ICEy TDS E-field Probes: E1TDSx, E1TDSz

TDS E-field probes are miniaturized active optical electrical-field probes for use in free-space media (εr = 1).

For ICEy applications, each TDS time-domain field probe is delivered with a 10 cm connector saver and ICEy machine adapter, enabling >25,000 mating cycles per probe. All SPEAG TDS probes have been optimized for field measurements over the 10 MHz – 6 GHz frequency range and are individually calibrated and characterized in SPEAG’s calibration laboratory.

Types of Probes

E1TDSx
Single axis free-space sensor, sensitive to E-fields radial to the probe axis

E1TDSz
Single axis free-space sensor, sensitive to E-fields parallel to the probe axis

Frequency Range 10 MHz – 6 GHz
Dynamic Range

120 dB (1 Hz resolution bandwidth)
0.3 mV/m – ≥150 V/m

Sensor Head Dipole Size 2.8 mm
Probe Tip Size 4 × 4 mm2
Optical Probe ID Integrated in the rear probe body
Fiber-Optic Interconnect
