cDASY Module SAR V6.14

The novel cDASY Module SAR V6.14 software is optimized for accelerated SAR compliance testing, offering the highest possible precision for dosimetric evaluations. It incorporates several novel features:

    • SAR and Transmitted Power Density assessments for devices operating in the 6 - 10 GHz frequency range
    • ultra-fast scanning that reduces the test time for area plus volume scans to 10 s for 1g and 10g evaluations
    • fast volume scan for assessing psSAR1g and psSAR10g distributions anywhere in the phantom and determination of the total absorbed power and the whole-body SAR (e.g., for base station compliance testing) 
    • reduced test time for a traditional area scan by a factor of three
    • smart zoom scan that reduces the measurement time by > 30%
    • direct control of the base-station simulator coupled with an expert system reduces user interaction times by several factors
    • support of specialized phantoms
    • integrated time averaged SAR measurement procedure
    • integrated verification of sensor linearization minimizes potential user errors
    • integrated system check and validation modules

The API feature, available as an additional licensed option, enables full automation of the SAR compliance workflow.

cDASY Module SAR V6.14 is fully compliant with IEC 62209-1, IEC 62209-2, IEEE 1528, CE, FCC KDB 865664 and other national regulations. It is also compliant with IEC 62232 for testing of base station antennas. Manufacturers and testing laboratories can reduce SAR compliance testing by several days per product. Importantly, the software is already compatible with the latest drafts of IEC 62209-1, IEC 62209-2 and IEC 62209-3.

cDASY6 Module SAR is always bundled with DASY52 SAR.

cDASY6 Module mmWave V2.0

The cDASY6 Module mmWave is used for power density compliance testing for frequencies up to 110 GHz at distances as close as 2 mm from the transmitter using the novel EUmmW probe.

It features two additional licensed options:

  • FTE (Forward Transform Scan) option that enables power density assessment on the SAM heads or any other virtual surface from a single measurement.
  • MEO (Maximum Exposure Optimizer) option that computes the maximum power density for complex devices with phased-array antennas from a very limited set of measurements.

DASY V5.2 Family The DASY V5.2 software is the industry standard for general near-field evaluations. Several versions of the software offering different levels of features, comfort, and flexibility are available.

The cDASY6 APIs provide a more efficient way to perform compliance measurements. With this option end-users can control DASY6 remotely to automate their measurement procedures for SAR evaluations (Module SAR), PD evaluations (mmWave) and new WPT evaluations from 3 kHz to 10 MHz (Module IF-WPT) via custom scripts.

Computer Requirements

The following minimum PC requirements must be met for maximum performance and full graphics capability:

  • 4 USB ports (at least 2 USB 3.0 ports)

  • 3D accelerated graphics display adapter card with 256 MB of onboard memory that supports CUDA and the latest OpenGL drivers currently available
