The IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) is the flagship event of a week that is all about microwaves and radio frequencies! The exhibition and conference are held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, USA.

At this year's event, SPEAG will exhibit our latest dielectric assessment kit, DAK-TL2, the second-generation system for characterizing materials with limited thickness or volume. The DAK-TL2 is powered by a new high-performance solver that can calculate dielectric parameters directly from observed S11 values in near real-time. IMS is an ideal place to meet our experts in person and learn about all our new products and features, many of which focus on a wide range of radiofrequency and millimeter-wave technologies, including:

  • Our DAK systems for characterization of dielectric materials up to millimeter-wave frequencies.
  • Over-the-Air EM Phantoms that accurately reproduce the effect of the human body on electromagnetic transmitter systems over a wide frequency range from 10 MHz to 110 GHz.
  • SEMCAD X Matterhorn V20.0 and Sim4Life V7.0, full-wave 3D EM simulation software for simulating fields from DC to light. SEMCAD X and Sim4Life support a wide range of applications, including safety assessment, EM interference and compatibility (EMI/EMC), antenna design and optimization, 5G, wireless power transfer, dosimetry, optics, and design of microwave and millimeter-wave waveguide devices.
  • The latest version of the world-leading DASY8 near-field measurement system that now supports a frequency range from 3 kHz to 110 GHz for various applications covered by a number of specialized modules: Module SAR, Module mmWAVE, Module WPT, Module HAC, Module R&D, and many more.

Successful Presentation of Innovative SAR Measurement in UK

The future of SAR measurement technology was on full display on June 11 at an open forum organized by UL in Basingstoke, UK called “New Innovation SAR Measurement Using Array Systems”. Prominently featured at the event was a live demonstration of cSAR3D, SPEAG’s real-time SAR measurement system. The IT’IS Foundation summarized the groundbreaking research work that defined SAR measurement technology and is driving new innovations for the future.

Award for the Best Symposium Paper at the APEMC2015 Conference to the Developers of the ICEy and TDS Technologies
