DASY8/6 Module WPT V2.0: Enhanced and Fast WPT Compliance Testing
SPEAG released DASY8/6 Module WPT V2.0, which integrates the new MAGPy Version 2 with the DASY8/6 system and provides 8-times faster, more accurate, and total field (magnetic and electric field) compliance testing of sources emitting any periodic signals (<10 MHz) against the basic restrictions.
The latest version of our DASY8/6 Module WPT, V2.0, is now based on MAGPy Version 2 and takes full advantage of this stand-alone product. Evaluating wireless power transfer (WPT) systems has never been so quick and easy with maximum precision:
8× faster measurements, as the new probes allow assessment of the eight isotropic magnetic (H-)field probes (23 sensors plus phase) at each robot position;
Simultaneous measurement of the incident electric (E-)field with its integrated isotropic E-field sensor;
Evaluation of periodic signals with non-sinusoidal waveforms and duty cycles;
Evaluation of all basic restriction quantities, now also including the local non-averaged induced E-field required by ISED;
Conversion of the measured H-field distribution into a Maxwell field and calculation of the fields in the standardized phantom without loss of precision (Tier 4 of IEC 63184);
Conservative estimation of the fields induced in the tissue by the incident E-field according to Christ et al. (Bioelectromagnetics, 43(7), 2022).
This user video shows how the MAGPy Version 2 probe, integrated with DASY8/6 Module WPT V2.0, is used to determine compliance for wireless power transfer devices.
Another important advantage is the dual use of the MAGPy system as a hand-held system (MAGPy Version 2) and as part of Module WPT (DASY8/6 Module WPT V2.0), as customers only need to buy and calibrate one device.

The future of SAR measurement technology was on full display on June 11 at an open forum organized by UL in Basingstoke, UK called “New Innovation SAR Measurement Using Array Systems”. Prominently featured at the event was a live demonstration of cSAR3D, SPEAG’s real-time SAR measurement system. The IT’IS Foundation summarized the groundbreaking research work that defined SAR measurement technology and is driving new innovations for the future.
Auden, SPEAG and ZMT are pleased to announce the completion of the 10th edition of their successful annual hardware & software workshops in Taipei, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai.
Our paper “EMC/EMI Near-field Testbed for EM Phasor Measurements Using Active Optical Sensors,” featuring the latest research in near-field EMC/EMI scanning technologies implemented in SPEAG’s TDS and ICEy systems, was awarded the Best Symposium Paper Award at the 2015 Asia-Pacific International EMC Symposium in Taipei, Taiwan.
SPEAG is proud to announce the release of DAK software v2.0. Based on customer feedback and our focused expertise, the software was completely rewritten with our own advanced software development kit (SDK) to offer a more open and flexible structure, a greater user experience, and improved functionality, while retaining the same look and feel.
The novel SMC Sensor Model Calibration is a breakthrough in signal independent calibration of electromagnetic linearized over a large dynamic range.This new technique increases the flexibility of the end-user and reduces calibration costs while maintaining a low measurement uncertainty.
SPEAG is excited to announce the launch of a novel product in our TDS lineup – the fully electrically isolated RF-over-Fiber Transducer (RFoF1P). With this new product, SPEAG continues to extend the frontiers of accurate and traceable RF measurements powered by micro-photonic technologies to applications such a conducted EMC/EMI, ESD, antenna correlation and signal integrity measurements as well as to highly immune signal and power links for ultra-low-noise and ultra-wideband transmissions.
SPEAG is proud to announce the launch of another member in our TDS lineup – the PXI (PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation) version of the TDS Remote Unit. With this new product SPEAG brings accurate and traceable RF measurements powered by micro-photonic technologies to modular instrumentation.
SPEAG is excited to announce the release of the latest addition to our TDS product family – the TDS SNI probe. With TDS SNI, SPEAG pioneers the use of photonics for accurate and traceable RF measurements in EMC/EMI sniffing applications, bringing the functionality of a benchtop spectrum analyzer to the tip of miniature electrically isolated electric and magnetic field probes.
