SPEAG proudly presents DASY83D, an effective and modular combination of DASY8 and cSAR3D that retains all the benefits of the DASY8 Modules and cSAR3D and enables versatile and precise automated testing.
In 2018, SPEAG released cSAR3D-A, our first system for automated specific absorption rate (SAR) testing, which was loved by our customers, but proved not to be modular and versatile enough to quickly adopt to the testing needs created by new exposure control features combining time-averaged SAR, proximity and motion sensors.
SPEAG did not shy away from the major effort of starting from scratch, and completely redesigned the cSAR3D-A system using all the technologies developed in-house in the meantime, such as the modularity of the DASY8 Modules and our Jupyter Notebook-based solutions. The focus was on maximizing precision and providing an easy-to-use user interface that allows user-defined testing protocols.
The result is DASY83D.
DASY83D is modular in hardware and software – any DASY8 and cSAR3D system can be upgraded to DASY83D. The software is based on the new DASY8 Module c3D V1.0 and the Jupyter Notebook DASY83D, and interacts with cSAR3D via its advanced application programming interfaces. The first version of the DASY83D software is still limited, but already has several important test functionalities and features:
Precision of device positioning on the cSAR3D phantoms of 0.1 mm and 0.1º;
Speed through automation without compromising measurement accuracy;
Reduced operator errors;
Accurate evaluation of SAR distance and position dependence, including proximity sensors.
In the coming months, SPEAG will add many new features, and focus on smart and smooth integration of different base station simulators.

SPEAG is pleased to announce the release of SEMCAD X Matterhorn V19.2, our full-wave 3D electromagnetic (EM) simulation software and specialized subpackage of Sim4Life. The new version not only comes with an improved user experience and a smoother look and feel but also with important new features, refinements, and bug fixes.
SPEAG has released DASY6 Module mmWave V2.2 together with the MEO and API Options. Version 2.2 fulfills all requirements of the Final Draft of the IEC/IEEE 63195-1/-2 and offers the necessary features for MIMO testing and for testing automation above 6 GHz.
SPEAG is delighted to announce the release of MAGPy V1-0, our first high-end handheld system that empowers users to demonstrate compliance in the very close near field of wireless power transfer systems and other high-current industrial systems. MAGPy V1-0 meets all requirements of the latest draft of IEC/IEEE63184 PAS.
SPEAG’s new cDASY6 Module WPT is the first-ever solution to demonstrate compliance with the basic restrictions of any magnetic source according to the latest IEC/IEEE63184 DPAS draft. The module is based on SPEAG’s new MAGPy product line.
In October, FCC issued new interim procedures for demonstrating compliance between 6 – 10 GHz. Just a few weeks later, we are happy to provide a scientifically rigorous solution that enables DASY6 users to meet these new requirements.
With the release of cSAR3D V4.0, SPEAG introduces the novel X10 Combiner for high-resolution measurements. It enables SAR and absorbed power density testing from 6 – 10 GHz while also improving the overall measurement accuracy..
