Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) is the leading developer and manufacturer of the most reliable, efficient, user-friendly, and advanced experimental (cSAR3D, DASY, iSAR, TDS, DAK, SAR/OTA Phantoms) and numerical (SEMCAD X) tools for electromagnetic near- and far-fields from direct current to light.

SPEAG developed a new state-of-the-art solver, within their simulation suite, based on the Mode Matching technique for the simulation of passive waveguide structures. The new solver has been integrated into the existing SEMCAD X framework to provide the user with a commonly elaborated simulation environment.

Together with the EM and thermal solvers based on the FDTD techniques, SEMCAD X µWave can be successfully applied to a wide variety of electromagnetic problems ranging from microwave devices, electromagnetic compatibility, optics, to bio-medical applications.
