This file contains instructions to install DASY6 Module WPT on DASY6 systems.


IMPORTANT:

We kindly recommend to carefully follow the steps described within this ReadMe 
file in order to achieve a smooth and successful installation of all software 
components. 

The "Module WPT V2.8 - SW Installer" from the download site
https://speag.swiss/downloads/dasy/dasy6-download-2/
contains the latest software.

NOTE:
It is not necessary to uninstall any previous version of DASY6 Module WPT. This 
installer provides a complete new installation of DASY6 and installs it onto the 
local harddisk into a separate directory.

STEP 1: INSTALLATION
To install the DASY6 Module WPT software package, run WPT_Installer_D6_2.8.x.exe. 
You will then be guided through the installation.

When the installation is complete, there will be a "D6 WPT V2.8" icon  
on your desktop as well as a DASY6 Module WPT folder in the directory C:\Users\
Public\Documents\Speag\DASY. The default installation type is "Recommended", 
whereby Core Components, Jupyter Notebook, WPT backend, Sim4Life, and DASY6 WPT
are pre-selected. 

STEP 2: DONGLE DRIVER UPDATE/INSTALLATION
The driver is directly executed during DASY6 installation, therefore no further 
step is required for the dongle driver update/installation. 

STEP 3: TX-MS UPGRADE (DASY6 server and robot controller upgrade)
Please follow the instructions in the Upgrade_TX_MS/Upgrade.txt
