This file contains instructions to install DASY8 Module SAR on DASY8 systems.


IMPORTANT:

We kindly recommend to carefully follow the steps described within this ReadMe 
file in order to achieve a smooth and successful installation of all software 
components.


The "DASY8 Module SAR Installer" from the download site
https://www.speag.com/downloads/dasy8/dasy8-download/
contains the latest software.

NOTE:
It is not necessary to uninstall any previous version of DASY8 Module SAR. This installer 
provides a complete new installation of DASY8 and installs it onto the local 
harddisk into a separate directory.

STEP 1: DASY8 software installation
The software version number can be verified in the Help / About menu. 
The version will be called 
DASY8 Module SAR V16.2.4.2524
 after a successful installation

STEP 2: Measurement Server and Robot Software Upgrade
The robot / measurement server software version numbers can be verified in the Robot drop down menu of the DASY8 Module SAR software. 
If the actual versions are lower than the expected versions, please perform an upgrade as described in the DASY8 Module SAR manual.

STEP 3: Phantom Registration 
The phantom registration algorithm is executed at the 1st start, or after a mother scan. This step can take several minutes.
