This file contains instructions to install cDASY6 Module SAR on DASY6 systems.


IMPORTANT:

We kindly recommend to carefully follow the steps described within this ReadMe 
file in order to achieve a smooth and successful installation of all software 
components.


The "cDASY6 Module SAR Installer" from the download site
https://www.speag.com/downloads/dasy8/dasy8-download/
contains the latest software.

NOTE:
It is not necessary to uninstall any previous version of cDASY6 Module SAR. This installer 
provides a complete new installation of cDASY6 and installs it onto the local 
harddisk into a separate directory.

STEP 1: cDASY6 software installation
The software version number can be verified in the Help / About menu. 
The version will be called 
cDASY6 Module SAR V16.0.0.116
 after a successful installation

STEP 2: cDASY6 settings folder 
The C:\Users\Public\Documents\Speag\DASY\cDASY6\6.14 folder must be backup, renamed to 16.0, and copied to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Speag\DASY\cDASY6_Module_SAR

STEP 3: cDASY6 motherscan folder 
The C:\Users\Public\Documents\Speag\DASY\cDASY6\motherscans folder must be backup, and copied to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Speag\DASY\cDASY6_Module_SAR\

STEP 4: Confirm Software Update
On 1st software startup, the following message is displayed: "New software version is activated. Preference file is updated, please confirm with OK button. If no new version was installed, contact SPEAG (support@speag.swiss) before any further action.". Please confirm by pressing "OK". This message will not longer be displayed afterwards.

STEP 5: Robot / Measurement Server software upgrade
There is no need to perform a Robot / Measurement Server upgrade when installing V16.0

STEP 6: Re-import phantom configuration files.
For usage of the ELI V4.0 / MFP phantoms, the current configuration files must be deleted in Application Preferences >> Inventory, and the ones delivered with V16.0 must be imported. Else, measurements in those 2 phantoms will not be possible.

STEP 7: Phantom Registration 
The phantom registration algorithm is executed at the 1st start, or after a mother scan. This step can take several minutes.
