This CD-ROM contains cDASY6 Module mmWave V2.2.0.76 for DASY6 systems.


IMPORTANT:

We kindly recommend to carefully follow the steps described within this ReadMe 
file in order to achieve a smooth and successful installation of all software 
components.


This CD or the "cDASY6 Module mmWave Installer" from the download site
https://www.speag.com/downloads/dasy6/dasy6-download/
contains the latest software.

NOTE:
It is not necessary to uninstall any older versions of cDASY6 Module mmWave. This installer 
provides a complete new installation of cDASY6 Module mmWaveand installs it onto the local 
harddisk into a separate directory.

STEP 1: cDASY6 software installation
The software version number can be verified in the “Help” / “About”-menu. 
The version will be called V2.2.0.76 after a successful installation

STEP 2: cDASY6 settings folder
The C:\Users\Public\Documents\Speag\DASY\cDASY6 Module mmWave\2.0 folder must be backup and renamed 2.2

STEP 3: Confirm Software Update
On 1st software startup, the following message is displayed: "New software version is activated. Preference file is updated, please confirm with OK button. If no new version was installed, contact SPEAG (support@speag.swiss) before any further action.". Please confirm by pressing "OK". This message will not longer be displayed afterwards.

STEP 4: Graphics Card Update
Forward Transform Scans require a graphics card that supports CUDA. The CUDA drivers are part of the cDASY6 Module mmWave installer. Proper graphics card configuration can be verified in cDASY6 Module mmWave. For this type "import pyrec.cuda_helpers" in the console. Your graphics card should be listed.

STEP 5: Robot / Measurement Server software upgrade
The robot / measurement server software version numbers can be verified in the Robot drop down menu of the cDASY6 Module mmWave software. 
If the actual and expected versions differ, please perform an upgrade as described in the Server Upgrade 
cDASY6 folder contained in the cDASY6 Module mmWave V2.2 installation folder.
