Optional: set checkbox to uninstall any existing driver. 3 - Plug in Dongle, LED should turn ON. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PREREQUISITES FOR WIN 10 B2004 and later In most cases, just running the driver setup Dongle_Drivers_ver_8_11_Installer.exe in an up-to-date system is enough. However, here are Flexera's recommendations to properly install the don gle drivers. + Do Windows update. + Flexera recommends to install KB-4568831. However in some machines this update is not compatible with the current system. The Windows Update site mentions that KB-4566785 contains the driver fix we need. Run either update directly from Windows catalog: Try KB-4568831: http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=4568831 If it fails try KB-4566785, http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4566785 + Once the updates are installed, execute as admin the Dongle_Drivers_ver_8_11_Installer.exe installer or directly run the LicenseTool setup (including driver install). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO MANUALLY INSTALL THE DONGLE DRIVERS FOR WINDOWS 7, 8, 8.1, 10 1 - Uninstall any existing driver. 2 - Unplug Dongle. 3 - Unzip the file Manual_FlexID_Drivers.zip 4 - Open command prompt in elevated mode (Run As Administrator) and execute the following command: haspdinst.exe -install OR haspdinst.exe -i 5 - Copy file haspsrm_win64.dll to %windir%/System32. 6 - Plug in Dongle, LED should turn ON. NOTE: For Windows 10 B2004 and later versions, please check the section on prerequisites for Windows 10 B2004 OPTIONAL: - Try >lmutil lmhostid.exe -flexid from the Licensing tools folder installed with the application. Check that lmhostid.exe recognizes the dongle.
