C++ Software Engineer

Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) and ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT), members of the Zurich43 alliance, are currently seeking applicants for the post as:

C++ Software Engineer

Your challenges:

  • Development and maintenance of ZMT's computational life sciences platform Sim4Life
  • Design and implementation of high-quality and ultra-performant algorithms and data structures capable of dealing with very large computational models and datasets
  • Involvement in all stages of product development, from detailed analyses to the global level

Your strengths:

  • University or technical college degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or equivalent knowledge
  • Fascination for the design of high-quality, user-friendly, reliable software
  • Extensive knowledge or above average grades in algorithm development and data structures
  • In depth knowledge of C++, experience with large C++ code bases advantageous
  • Practical experience as a software engineer with know-how and experience in the latest tools and technologies of advantage
  • Good English and preferably German skills
  • Versatility, self-motivation, creativity, flexibility, ability to work to high standards independently while being part of a team
