SPEAG, together with its partner organizations the Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT’IS), ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT), and TI Solutions AG (TI Solutions), forms the Zurich43 alliance. Z43’s dedicated mission is to expand the knowledge and technology for the (i) characterization, optimization, and application of the EM near-field and (ii) predictive modelling of interactions between physical agents and physiology in complex anatomies and (iii) medical applications.

Your challenges:

• Assume full ownership for new product development and the maintenance of our existing product line
• Develop tailored solutions to meet specific customer requirements
• Lead and guide a talented R&D team through various projects
• Act as a liaison between our R&D department and customers, ensuring seamless communication
• Showcase our products through compelling demonstrations at customer sites and exhibitions
• Prepare and execute successful product releases
• Produce high-quality product and marketing documentation

Your strengths:

• University or technical college degree (Master or Ph.D.) in Physics or Electrical Engineering
• In-depth knowledge of electromagnetics and radiofrequency technology
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python
• Familiarity with the latest communication technologies, including LTE and 5G New Radio
• Proven experience in product development and project leadership
• Knowledge of EM 3D and 2D simulation techniques is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and unwavering commitment to delivering work of the highest quality
• Willingness to travel to key customers worldwide
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in German considered a plus
